The Japanese Internet service provider BIGLOBE posted the results on Thursday of a survey on its users' favorite characters from anime released in the first half of 2012. This is not an official BIGLOBE survey, but a survey conducted by a user named "tatsuya1996" under BIGLOBE's Anime Ranking Maker system. Among the 12,063 self-selected responses from users of BIGLOBE's Anime One portal site, these were the top 46 choices:
