The nine Blu-ray Disc/DVD volumes of the Kuroko's Basketball ( Kuroko no Basuke) television anime series will begin shipping on July 27, and each volume will have a bonus "Kuroko no Basuke NG-Shū" anime extra. The "Kuroko no Basuke NG-Shū" anime extras will adapt the "NG-Shū" manga extras in the compiled book volumes of Tadatoshi Fujimaki's original manga. The first volume will also have the first two television episodes along with a bundled "Special DVD." The Special DVD will include a digest video of the anime's announcement special before its premiere, as well as two of the card illustrations from the ending credits. Each monthly Blu-ray/DVD volume from the second volume onward will have three episodes for a grand total of 26 episodes.
Crunchyroll is streaming the television anime into several countries as it airs in Japan.
